ABOUT THE PROJECT
A living archive of becoming

NOW SHE IS is a storytelling project documenting women in moments of change — subtle or monumental.

It explores the invisible transformations that define us:

  • Entering motherhood
  • Shifting identity and roles
  • Love, loss, and healing
  • Career and life transitions
  • Lineage, memory, and generational stories

Each story is an emotional portrait of a woman in transition — captured through images, words, and presence.

It is a conversation, a ritual, and a mirror of who she is now.

How It Works
Your story as a chapter.

Each participant becomes a chapter in the NOW SHE IS archive.
Inquiry & Invitation
You submit your story and current transition. If it’s a fit for the project’s current chapter, we schedule a call.
Guided Conversation
We meet online or in person for a deep, honest conversation about your present moment, memories, and what you’re stepping into.
Portrait Session
We create emotional, intimate portraits — in a space and style that feel true to you. Gentle direction, lots of presence, no performance.
Story weaving
From our conversation and images, a short narrative is crafted to accompany your portraits.
Archive & show
Your story becomes part of the NOW SHE IS archive and may be featured in future exhibitions, publications, and digital showcases (with your consent).
